Fulfillment

Shell shocked, empty, grasping for leverage

peering through the nothingness of the surrounding ocean

thinking of days long ago, relaxed atop a haystack

at one with a beauty, watching and reaching

hungry for change

a hunger that will not be filled by a single pear

hunger and emptiness that will only be filled with

the U-N-I-T-Y of us all

i glimpse a world 

a world of change

where birth begins

anew 

                                                no more hiding

                                                saving face 

                                                clean slate

                                                no black no white

                                                only grey

                                                                                       all unite  

                                                                                       a new horizon awaits

                                                                                       hopeful nights

                                                                                       faces revealed

                                                                                       transparent in thy sight
